2018 Workshop Series:
Accompanying Youth
on their journey of Faith and Discernment
Accompaniment is our model for ministry with youth and their families. God began the conversation with young people; our job is to pay attention to what God is doing in the lives of young people, walk with youth as they grow in discipleship, and help them discern their response to God’s plan for their life. This workshop will explore ways to help youth pray and discern their vocation.
Topics included:
The workshop is guided by the 2018 Synod on Young People, the Faith and Vocational Discernment. It is designed for all parish leaders whose ministries touch the lives of adolescents and their families—including pastors, deacons, pastoral associates, coordinators of youth ministry, leaders in faith formation and catechists, Confirmation preparation leaders, and service/social concerns leaders. |
it was held on March 1, 2018
