Youth Ministry Models
There are MANY ways to help connect teens with the parish community.
No one way works in every parish,
but the keys are always:
1. A love for God
2. An appreciation for gifts that young people bring to our Church
3. Willingness to build relationships founded on Christ
4. Responding to the needs of the youth in your community.
Depending on the resources, needs, interests and population of your parish,
outreach with youth may include any of the following elements:
> A ministry with teens and Diocesan Child Protection Policy compliant adults with regular youth meetings
> Religious Education classes for teens
> Service Programs
> Small Christian Communities
> Inter-generational sessions with teens involved
> Adults mentoring teens
